Hostel
The hostel part of our business is situated in the 1870 - 1996 buildings, The Smylies building is one of Springfield's oldest homes starting its history back in the 1870s as a guesthouse for the Bullock trains passing through.
Room choices: 2 super king/twin rooms upstairs. View to the mountains from the windows rooms known as Black and Pink room due to the wallpaper choice and matching paintings.
Downstairs we have 3 rooms that are used as either twin, family or dorm. You will see the choices on the booking page as Office Room, Twin or Dorm. The max dorm size is 6.
Set on just over 2 acres it offers plenty of space for rest and enjoyment. It has been extensively renovated with all modern facilities
We can cater for groups of up to 35 in shared accommodation with or without dinner and breakfast provided.
There is an extensive collection of English and Japanese books to be found on the bookshelves and in the TV lounge we have a good collection of videos and DVDs and broadband strength internet.
